  • Linux-1U.net unconditionally reserves all the rights to the intellectual property and trademarks
  • Linux-1U.net unconditionally reserves the rights Modify the Terms of this License at any time for any lawful purpose

  • Email Your Proposals and Requests
  • The License Fee ( US dollars )
    • $5,000 NRE for us to assist in designing your custom chassis
    • fees does NOT include costs paid to 3rd party vendors and suppliers
    • $250/hr, 2 hr minimum for general overview for us to review your custom chassis designs
    • Annual $15,000.oo License Fee for existing Linux-1U.net Chassis drawings
    • 1% ( one percent ) royalty per customized 1U chassis sold
    • Subsequent updates for $1,000.oo per drawing ( chassis previously licensed )

    • Includes AutoCad drawings closest to your targeted 1U chassis
    • Includes a completed functional demo server per your specification
      ( or as close as possible to your target design specification )
    • Includes a sample Parts List to build a 1U server

    • There is NO refunds

    • All documents signed by your corporate officers binding the Corporation to the terms of this License
    • All documents signed by your corporate lawyers licensed in your state
      • All NDA, Non-Competition, Non-Circumvention, OEM distribution agreements, et.al
      • You further agree to notify and defend all intellectual property of your licensed 1U chassis

  • The License Grants you permission to:
    • modify and produce your own commercial 1U products
    • You may wish and we encourage you to modify the front panel to be your own corporate identity
    • You may use our trademarks in your marketing materials/websites
      • 1U-Raid5™
      • DeskMount™

  • You do NOT have any additional rights such as
    • you do NOT have the rights that is NOT already explicitly granted
    • you do NOT have any tech support of any kind to modify the drawings to your specifications
    • you do NOT have the rights to sell the empty or stuffed 1U chassis at any price to third parties for resale
    • you do NOT have any rights to transfer, sell, sublicense, review, give away, etc..etc to any other entity
    • you do NOT have any rights to any derivative works, such derivative work is part of Linux-1U.net property ???
    • this license enures all successors and entities

  • Target Customers for these AutoCad drawings
    • You have an official copy of AutoCad R14
    • You understand the need for working/accurate drawings to build prototype chassis
    • You understand the time ( days, weeks ) needed to build prototype chassis
    • You understand K-factors of your sheet metal equipement
    • Our drawings are NOT dimensioned, and is expected that the sheet metal shop
      has automated "NC" extraction and flattening tools for their equipment
    • You're an experienced AutoCAD design team
    • Your projected sales expectations exceeds 100-200 chassis

    • You are familiar with outsourcing and "contract manufacturing and integration"
      • Inventory management, ECO design changes, Field Service/Support, etc
      • Design and assembly of PCB for led, wires, headers, switches
      • Server Assembly and Integration of motherboard, cpy, disk, memory, screws, misc parts
    • You have an in-house linux distribution and development team
      • linux distribution CDROM
      • Tech support of your products
      • Security of your servers
      • Updates, patches and maintenance of yoru servers
    • You are familiar with R-n-D support vs field service support

  • Legal Stuff
    • All disputes to be resolved accordingly in Santa Clara County, State of California
    • All documents drawn and signed/notorized by the Corporate Councel binding your company to this License
