MiniBox Chassis
Purpose

  • GPL the MiniBox Autocad drawings to (free) registered users
    • Just need to qualify that you know how to properly use the drawings
    • sheet metal shops expect to get paid for the metal they bend and drill even if it does not fit your needs
  • Too much competition -- need to find a niche --> GPL
  • Targetting the home pc users - that want small, quiet, low heat, relatively fast system

  • Supports two standard hard disks ( Raid )
  • Supports Intel P4-3.0G 533FSB cpu
    • Requires 150W(?) dc-dc power supply
  • Fanless for those motherboards/CPUs NOT requiring fans
  • Custom brackets for standard 19" EIA cabinets/racks
  • Rubber feet

  • If you don't like these features, feel free to make your modifications to the minibox chassis drawings and build your own variations
